I developed the Nest branding and visual identity which comprised full creative direction and execution. From logo, menus and operational collateral, to event creative and social media campaigns.
OPERATIONAL COLLATERAL
Upcycling and repurposing is deeply rooted in the branding and so finding imaginative and resourceful ways to embody this in key customer touchpoints was critical. My solution to the usual folder or tray solution to presenting the bill, was to upcycle vintage hardback Ladybird books. I developed one of the brand's surface designs into a printed book lining with receipt pouch, and created Ex Libris (this book belongs to) stickers for the inside covers. The sourced books were then professionally restored and relined, and serve as a fun and novel way to present customer bills. For the coasters, I sourced leather offcuts and had them die-cut and heat branded.
Creative for a summer campaign and collaboration with Sipsmith Gin to highlight a series of events and activities. Wimbledon had been identified as a key theme, along with The Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Silver Jubilee memorabilia were my source of inspiration, and I developed a trio of digital watercolour illustrations that were later applied to menus, marketing collateral and co-branded merchandise.
